As early as 8 years ago REINARTZ carried out the first experimental pressing with dried insect larvae. That was the starting signal to be actively involved in the insect scene. Since then, Reinartz have been able to continuously develop and improve their technologies. They are the experts when it comes to processing black soldier fly larvae, crickets, yellow or lesser mealworms and silkworm pupae.

With their processes they achieve low residual fat values of the processed insect as well as good to very good digestibility values. The meal obtained meets the requirements of the processing industry. Every insect project is very individual and requires special know-how in the fields of biology, system dynamics, process engineering, project management and plant construction.
